Page history last edited by rachael.mynatt@... 5 years ago

If you want access to PDF files of the deck we used, please contact Cassandra or Rachael at info@LeanAgileTraining.com.  (Note for public readers: You must also be a CSM/CSPO we trained.)

Read or finish reading the following:

Agile Project Management with Scrum by Ken Schwaber.

http://www.infoq.com/minibooks/scrum-xp-from-the-trenches

The Scrum Guide  http://agileconsortium.pbworks.com/w/page/23740731/Scrum%20Guide

Again, the Scrum Guide is a key source for the CSM Test. (As are the Agile Manifesto and the Agile Principles. In our slide deck and here: http://agilemanifesto.org/

You are certainly welcome to read here (this wiki), and at our blog “Agile & Business” (see http://www.leanagiletraining.com/blog/).  We have over 600 blog posts.  Please also contribute, if only with questions.

For the next week, you are welcome to a free copy of my book, on Agile Release Planning.

I will send you a link to get it for free.

There are other places to learn, on LinkedIn and elsewhere.

The Agile Alliance https://www.agilealliance.org/agile2019/ for scheduled events.

Scrum Alliance also has “scrum gatherings” twice a year.  See the Events tab on the home page, here: https://scrumalliance.org

I will be going to the ScrumGathering in Vienna (there is a story as to why) in October 2019.  Probably to the one in NYC Spring 2020.

See Agile Info on our LAT site, here: http://www.leanagiletraining.com/resources.html

There is a whole LOT of info on and "beneath" this page.  It includes: books, articles, blogs, yahoo groups, "user groups", etc, etc.

Local Groups: We recommend you join a local agile group.  Or start a local group or an "industry" group.

If you want to find groups in other cities, see:

http://scrumcommunity.pbworks.com/Local+Groups

http://www.meetup.com/cities/ And select a city and search on agile or scrum

https://www.linkedin.com/grp/  And search.

http://www.agilealliance.org/community-groups/http://www.scrumalliance.org/community/user-groups

You may of course search the web too.  For example, some user groups may have some sort of web presence, and are not be listed in Meetup, LinkedIn or any of the other places above.

Here are some other useful documents:

CSM PDU Claim Process-3.pdf

Scrum-checklist-prio1.pdf

Scaling Whitepaper

Joe's Unofficial Scrum Checklist

Favorite Scrum Mistakes

A list summarizing Scrum   This list is useful as a review. And maybe useful as a starting point for defining Scrum or Agile for your group.

Suggestions:

We place the highest value on taking action and getting real results.

Put what you think you know into action.  Now.

Find out what you don't know (maybe as well as you thought you did).

Find out what you need to know the most. Now.

Learn more (for a bit). Then Act more.

Learn-Act.  Get into a tight cycle.  Like a PDCA cycle.

We want you to pursue this with perseverance and aggressiveness, and at the same time patience.
